With the help of internationally known veterinarians such as Dr. Christina Chambreau (2010 speaker), Dr. Martin Goldstein (2011 speaker), and Dr. Ronald Schultz in 2012, the Healthy Dog Project continues the mission of assisting the community at large with detailed, scientific information on canine health issues such as vaccination protocols, species appropriate diet, topical pesticide usage, Lyme disease, and the newest integrative approaches in veterinary medicine through their free annual Healthy Dog Project seminar series in Cooperstown, NY.\r\n\r\nProceeds from the Healthy Dog Project seminar(s) go directly to the Rabies Challenge Fund. The Rabies Challenge Fund is working to determine the duration of immunity conveyed by Rabies vaccine. The goal is to extend the required interval for rabies boosters to 5 and then to 7 years. This project depends primarily upon grassroots gifts for funding the costs of conducting the requisite vaccine trials.\r\n
